EvLoop::nowUpdate — Establishes the current time by querying the kernel, updating the time returned by EvLoop::now in the progress

public EvLoop::nowUpdate(): voidEstablishes the current time by querying the kernel, updating the time returned by EvLoop::now() in the progress. This is a costly operation and is usually done automatically within EvLoop::run() .
